Women's Retreat
The women of the church very much enjoy getting together to share a time of worship and learning that is designed specifically for them and the particular challenges they face. Women's conferences and/or retreats have been a feature of the church calendar for a number of years now in Australia but were begun here in New Zealand in 2007, and enjoyed again most recently in early 2010. While not finalised, there is likely to be another early in 2013.
Annual conferences have been held at the Australian church’s regional headquarters in Queensland and women from around the region attend, including New Zealand, as they are able. Their next conference is planned for Friday through Sunday, May 21-23, 2010 (see www.wcg.org.au). Additionally there are bi-annual retreats in the Melbourne region.
